Doug Forsdick began his career with the BC Public Service in 1985.  He was worked throughout the province in an a variety or roles including Executive Lead, and member of the the corporate executive of the BC Public Service.

Doug has received the exemplary service medal as well as other designations and meritorious service designations. 

In 2019, Doug received the designation as a certified executive coach with the International Coaching Federation.  Since that time Doug has coached 100’s of individuals throughout North America.  In 2022, Doug published a leadership book titled “Mind the Gap – Navigating Your Leadership Journey”.  The book is designed for any leader at any level of their career but is particularly useful for front line officers transitioning to the first level of leadership.  In 2026, Doug will be releasing a second addition of Mind the Gap will a few exciting new chapters.  Doug speaks to groups about the unique and deep skills that individuals gain in roles such as Game Wardens, where they are given so much responsibility to carry out critical work.

Doug has presented on leadership throughout Canada and the USA.  He coaches individuals throughout North America, helping them to achieve their goals in all aspects of their lives, including work, career decisions, conflicts they may be having, or interview preparation.  He specializes in developing leaders at all levels.  Doug tailors the coaching experience for whoever is being coached.  He also consults for organizations where he specializes in structural change or adjustments in organizations as well as developing new and innovative organizational efficiencies.  Although Doug has a variety of clients with variable backgrounds, his favorite coaching clients are always Game Wardens and the organizations they work for!
